Mo Lake Memorial Golf Tournament in Support of Pancreatic Cancer Research

Why the Mo Lake Memorial tournament?

Barely into his twenties Mo was smitten with learning how to play golf. His attachment to the Royal Ashburn golf course began in the sixties when he took lessons from Wilson, the owner of the course. He stayed with the course for over fifty years volunteering as a Marshall and later taking out a golf membership. Whenever he could, he found a way to find time for golf. Mo lived with a curiosity and sense of adventure about the world that led him to a full life of friendship and love. His love of golf and deep roots at the Royal Ashburn influenced our decision to plant a tree in his memory on Hole 10.

When Mo succumbed to pancreatic cancer his friends and family came together not only to honour him but also to find a way to make their impact on the world. We hope you will join us to help  support the Canadian Pancreatic Cancer Society find a way  to diagnose pancreatic cancer prior to Stage 4 where death is imminent.
