THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT & LESSON

At the Royal Ashburn Golf Academy, every student begins their journey with the Initial Assessment, a 75-minute session which includes advanced technology such as TrackMan, V1 Sports Pressure Mat and A1 Sportsbox, designed to gather key insights and lay the foundation for a personalized improvement plan. This relaxed, conversational review allows our instructors to understand each golfer’s background, experience, and goals before diving into a hands-on lesson.

During the assessment, we discuss key factors such as home club affiliation, playing frequency, and overall experience level. We also evaluate individual strengths and weaknesses, pinpointing areas that need attention. Most importantly, we take the time to understand each golfer’s goals and desired outcomes, ensuring that our coaching approach is fully aligned with their aspirations.

By gathering these insights, our professionals can develop a strategic, customized plan tailored to each student’s unique needs, setting them up for long-term success both on and off the course.
